Most commonly purple, the spongy, absorbent fruit is used in several cuisines. Typically used as a vegetable in cooking, it is a berry by botanical definition. As a member of the genus Solanum, it is related to the tomato, chili pepper, and potato.

STEP:1
COLLECTING SEEDS
The first step is to collect seeds.You can purchase seeds from market or online store.you can collect your own seed from ripened fruit of old plant as well.If you are collecting seeds from ripened fruit means then allow it to dry for 7 to 10 days.
STEP :2
PREPARING SPACE
The next step is to prepare the space for planting BRINJAL plant .Select good region in ground.It is advised to select the region with good soil condition and sunlight.

SOWING SEEDS
Once the soil is ready sow the seed,s in the ground and put soil over the seeds which should be good for germination.You can sow many seeds together and later on you can transplant into farmland.Sow the seeds half inches below the soil.Please follow the region not seems to be dried untill the germination.Good seeds germinate within 6 to 10 days of time period

Wet the crop feild and Plant each sapling with a spacing of Spacing of 45 to 60 cm (18 to 24 in) between plants, depending on cultivar, and 60 to 90 cm (24 to 35 in) between rows.
FLOWERING
You will start noticing the plant is growing well day by day.Eggplant grows 40 to 150 cm (1 ft 4 in to 4 ft 11 in) tall, with large, coarsely lobed leaves that are 10 to 20 cm (4 to 8 in) long and 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 in) broad.After 25 days to 30 days you can see flowers blooming from the plant.
The stem is often spiny. The flowers are white to purple in color, with a five-lobed corolla and yellow stamens. Some common cultivars have fruit that is egg-shaped, glossy, and purple with white flesh and a spongy, "meaty" texture. Some other cultivars are white and longer in shape.
FRUITENING
